Za’ba Memorial Library was invited by the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) to participate as an exhibitor in conjunction with a Colloquium, held on 27-29 March 2015.  The 3-day seminar brought together literary figures, academicians and students with the intention to expose and make known the intellectual and personality of Pendeta Za’ba.

The Colloquium entitled “Kolokium Pemikiran Pendeta Za’ba” was officiated by Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Zain Al-‘Abidin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz. During his visit to our booth, he showed his interest to have a copy of Za’ba articles and photos that were exhibited.

The Library exhibited some original materials of Za’ba collection such as stamps, envelopes, tickets, cards, articles and photos. Our booth became the main attraction because of the rare materials.

Two staff were selected to be involved in the 3-day event . The exhibition was our first experience working out of the office and perhaps may not be the last.

Last but no least, YES – we did enjoy the experience. Thank you to the entire Za’ba Memorial Library team for the cooperation and support rendered before and after the exhibition.
