5S is the start of an organised, condusive and productive work area for everyone. It is an acronym for five Japanese words that are Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke. The process involves regular clearing the workplace to get rid of clutter and unused items and putting everything that is important in the right place.
A 5S & OSHE Day was held on 8th July 2020 (Wednesday) to award respective libraries who have won categories of the awards. Prior to that (3rd July 2020), panel of jurors had inspected the workplace and selected the winners based on compliance of the 5S criteria.
